"Be careful what you think because your thoughts run your life" (Pr. 4:23). Avoid the mistake of the stressed-out driver. When the car ahead of hers chose to stop at the yellow light rather than rush through, she came unstitched.  She shouted at the driver, waved at him with only part of her hand, leaned on her horn and gave him an earful. She never noticed the policeman behind her. When the light changed he pulled her over to the side of the road and asked her to step out of the car and sit in his back seat. He checked her driver's license, searched her vehicle, belongings, and called in her license plates.

"Ma'am," he finally explained, "Forgive the search, but your behavior troubled me. I saw the chrome fish symbol on your trunk, the 'Choose Life' license plate frame and the 'Follow Me to Sunday School' bumper stickers, and when I saw the way you were acting, I just assumed you stole the car." When heaven's citizens misbehave, people notice and God's reputation suffers. Give every day a chance to impress the world with our God.
