"May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God" (Ephesians 3:17-19 NLT).  When discussing God's love, Paul twice uses the term 'deep'.  "May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love, and may you see how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is." 

As a root drinks nutrients from the soil, may you drink nourishment for your soul. Can one sink so deeply in God's love that he sees nothing but His love? Can we descend so deeply into God's love that we, like Paul, stand in awe at how expansive is his love? Is such a river available to you? Wouldn't you love to go deep in such love? You can!  You can by using one verse as an anchor. Hold on and let it lower you down. "God is love." (1 John 4:16)
