Wilderness comes at you from all directions, heat and rain, sandstorms and hail. The wilderness boasts a large arsenal. For that reason we opt for bedrooms and cul-de-sacs: safety. Sometimes, however, we have no choice. Calamity hits and the roof rips away. The tornado drops us in the desert. No one desires the wilderness. David didn't. Moses didn't. Jesus didn't. You don't. But all experience the wilderness. David did. Moses did. Jesus did and you, if you haven't, will. If you're there, you need help. If you're not, someday you will.
