What do we do when evil roams the streets of our lives, attacking us from every direction? We want to survive the evil, to emerge stronger and bear fruit again. But how? David has some ideas. The evil in his life was a King by the name of Saul. David was half his age yet twice his stature. David eclipsed Saul in every area; a better warrior, a wiser leader. A wiser king would have cherished a soldier like David. Not Saul. He resented him. He resolved to spear David to a wall. But David dashed into the desert where he found refuge among the caves near the Dead Sea. Six hundred loyalists followed him. So did Saul.
