05 When You Feel Far From God - He Chose the Nails (Pieces of Passion Series) (MP3)

We all know what it’s like to feel remorse. When we do the things we know we shouldn’t do, we avoid those we’ve wronged. When we don’t do the assignment, we don’t want to see the teacher. When we fumble the ball, we don’t want to see the coach. And when we disobey God, we don’t want to see him. So we retreat. Some of us to a life of activity so we don’t think about him. Some of us to a season of anger at a God we think is still angry with us. Others retreat to a flurry of good works, trying to “make up” for what we’ve done wrong. When you feel far from God, these things are not the answer. But what is God’s answer?
