05 God's Righteous Road- Dealing with Guilt- Traveling Light (MP3)Listen to a Sample Do you ever think about heaven? The party, the fanfare, the glory of the face of God...exciting, isn't it? There's only one hitch: the price of admission is somewhat steep. In order to come to the party, you must be righteous. Not good, not decent, not a taxpayer or a churchgoer. Citizens of heaven are righteous. R-I-G-H-T. All of us occasionally do what is right. Some of us predominately do what is right. But none of us always do what is right. Some of you may be thinking, "Well, I'm not perfect, but I'm certainly better than most. I help people, I give to charity, I obey the law." But that is not God's standard for righteousness. He points to himself and says: "This is what I mean by righteousness. This is how you must be to have a place at my table." It puts us in a precarious situation. The good news, however, is that God has made it possible for us to come to the party. 1. Righteousness is what God is. 2. Righteousness is what we are not. 3. Righteousness is what God requires. 4.
