Maybe a punch landed below the waist or a hockey stick found the back of a knee. Now imagine yourself as the athlete on the receiving end of said cheap shot. Do you understand how he feels? Of course you do; it happens to us all the time. You see, as Christians, our foe is champion of the cheap shot. Let one disciple break free from the pack and close in on the goal and you can bet your paycheck Satan will send one of his cronies to bring him down. And Satan has never been known for playing fair. Discouragement. Divorce. Division. Temptation. Illness. Gossip. Debt. You name it, he'll use it.
