Somewhere between the first step out of bed and the first step out the door, we pick up a few bags. The practice is so second nature, so we don't notice it. The carousel is invisible, so we don't see it. The bags aren't made of leather, but that doesn't mean we don't feel them. The bags are made of burdens and we feel each and every one. I wonder if you've been lugging any heavy loads around lately...self-reliance...anxiety... disappointments...guilt...doubt...insecurities...weariness... 1. A reminder of who we are: We are sheep. 2.
